Cibc Run For The Cure Road Closures
CIBC Run for the Cure Road Closures: A Comprehensive Guide
Road Closures and Detours
On the day of the CIBC Run for the Cure, numerous roads in the downtown core of your city will be closed to accommodate the event. The race route will wind through several major thoroughfares, and all roads along the route will be closed for the duration of the race. In addition, some side streets and intersections will also be closed to ensure the safety of runners and spectators.
Plan for Delays and Use Transit
If you need to travel in the downtown core on the day of the race, plan for delays and consider using public transit instead of driving. The TTC will be providing additional service on all subway lines and bus routes to accommodate increased demand. You can find more information about race-day transit schedules on the TTC website.
Parking Restrictions
In addition to road closures, there will also be parking restrictions in effect in the downtown core on the day of the race. All streets along the race route will be posted with "No Parking" signs, and vehicles parked in these areas will be towed. Please obey all posted signs and park your vehicle in a designated parking area.
Road Reopening Times
Most roads will reopen shortly after the last runners have passed. However, some roads may remain closed for a longer period of time to allow for cleanup and dismantling of race infrastructure. Please check the race website or follow the CIBC Run for the Cure on social media for updates on road reopening times.
